No More Motions

Do you think you have it takes to succeed in this life? I know I don’t. The heartaches, pains and trials are tough. The only shining light in my life is Jesus Christ. It’s taken me years to finally just accept that but I finally have. 

Our society is built on self-sufficiency though, where you’re not a man if you can make it alone or you’re a failure if you don’t make a certain amount of money a year. I’m here to tell you though that regardless of anything, the only way to make it in this life is by fully putting your trust in Jesus Christ. 

Money can’t save you, your husband, wife or children can’t save you either. Jesus Christ is the only one who has the power to save you. He’s the only one who can truly help you make it day to day in this world we live in. 

So many times people say if I just had more money, if I just had a husband or wife, if I just had… 

Why don’t you just grab hold of Jesus!! You can have Him as your personal Savior. He takes care of everything. 

Below is one of my favorite illustrations by a very creative man of God, Mike Waters. It’s someone worrying about their bills, facing stress and anxiety but look at the birds. “I guess God doesn’t take care of him like He does us.” Allow yourself to accept that scripture and your life will change drastically.

God desires to take care of every aspect of your life and He has a set plan for each day of your life. It’s up to you to let Him be in control or you can just stay in control. I’d rather just let God be in control of my life. My all time favorite scripture is Psalm 119:105 – Your Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

 His Word will show you where you are and where you’re going if you’ll just take the time to read and study it each day. I love the popular FFH song from the 90’s for the Bible – Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth  The Bible is the manual and road map for our short lives here on this earth, don’t let your Bible collect any dust while you try and sort through the problems of this life alone. 

It’s much easier to just put your trust in Jesus.
